Steps to Certification

We will lead you using the following steps to obtain carbon neutral certification

Prepare Carbon Account for the base year

We will prepare your carbon account using relevant data
The base year carbon account provides a starting point for comparing emissions over time for you

Public Report

We will prepare your Public report as part of the application for carbon neutral certification
We will help to prepare your annual Public report thereafter

Independent Validation

Base year source data in Carbon account must be independently audited or verified
We will help you fulfil this step
Independent validation may also be required periodically

Obligations

Obligations for certification include:

Submission of an annual report
Payment of the licence fee
Compliance with ongoing independent validation of the carbon account and public report
Licence agreement gives permission to use the certification trademark for the time specified in the licence agreement
